Luv the dress form. It would look quite beautiful on canvas.

Regarding the 3rd set of dies he is releasing at CHA . . . well now I'm in trouble. The globe, the fan and the camera . . . oh my! Luv the numbers. Looks like the metal one he currently sells. :-)

You guys been looking at the new Idea-ology sneaks this week? Some of it doesn't appeal, but there are some good pieces, especially today! I'm loving the mini gears and mini numbers, and I already have an idea for using hte clock keys in a layout with some pictures of a wind-up doll that was my grandmother's. I like the new paper line as well.

Today's was the best. I love those windup keys. I never realized it but I love to see things with a windup key like a car or a person. I also really liked the faucet handles and the tissue tape. And the other day the travel papers. The rest I can live without.

:censor: :censor: :censor: Now I want the Sizzix's Eclips so I can use his new stamp-to-cut kits. At the $500+ price point however I will be cutting my own images. :D I wish he would have created digitial images instead. Don't want to take precious real estate space in my craft room with yet another cutting machine and the supporting cartridges.

Wish I had stock in Sizzix for all those folks
that will be running out to buy an eclipse just because
Tim has a cartridge or two or three or more,
coming out to work on it, and notice that each cartridge
will have images from different stamp sets, to generate
more stamp sales to work with each cartridge, the man
has marketing genes, for sure.

Doesn't interest me in the slightest.... which is good, since I need to actually use my poor neglected Cricut!

It surprises me that the Silhouette, Cricut and Eclipse are still (for me) a bit too complicated for what little they do. At least with my Silhouette, I don't have to buy cartridges (one less collection to store). If the Silhouette hadn't been a gift, I certainly wouldn't have one. I think I'm still just a basic paper-crafter. The one thing I do like about these systems - you can choose the size of the die-cut.

Funny thing is... I'm not a marker person in the slightest, but I have the Adirondack markers and use them because they match my inks. I suppose it's along the lines of CTMH and SU having markers that match their inks and papers.
