Nathalie Kalbach and Julie Balzar are issuing challenges now and then and today was the first one. Use Gold Paint. But the second floor part is to use the challenge beyond what you would normally do-take it to the second floor. Nathalie's was that she would normally only use gold paint as an accent so she used it as the background of a layout.

Sounds like fun to me. Anyone else plan to join in?

hadn't seen this.

Re: Second Floor Challenges
I'm following it and will participate when I can. Thought it would be interesting.
Re: Second Floor Challenges
I've started my first one with the gold paint but finishing will have to wait until I go home. Can't find anything to alter here at the other house.
Re: Second Floor Challenges
I've been thinking about this for 2 days now. Still haven't mustered the energy to go pull out supplies.
Maybe I'm still sick? I was so sick while in the UAE. Poor me. My sinuses are a mess and I think I had pneumonia. Evidently I'm spiraling into self-pity and I'm going to shut up now.
I do have an idea for this - need to pull out the stuff and make some notes since my photos haven't arrived yet!

To use some supply that you have never used before. While some of you may not like Julie, her post and Nat's are very interesting as they explain how they struggle with something new and how they work through it until they have something they like. A lot of lessons to be learned there!
