A warning from Amanda M! She gave her Dylusions Turquoise
a little shake and "it kinda exploded a little". Amanda really gets
into her art! Thanks for the heads-up Amanda!

I noticed that when I was spraying the colors on tbe color chart, some of them explode and dribble, I watched Dyan in her videos and it's definitely a messy craft, but I love the way it looks and all the colors!

I like the handles for control, so the make-up sponge thing didn't work for me.... but it is definitely cheaper, even when using coupons!
I am really hard on mine too. I have had to replace to foams since starting CC101. When working with tags I seem to catch the corners more than regular cardstock, especially after spraying, dipping and staining them!

pbp908 wrote:I don't remember who posted this or where I saw it, but I finally managed to solve my problem with the silly foam things. I was just tossing all of them into a container and then couldn't figure out which one went with which ink, and besides that the stupid cat kept carrying them and the wooden things all over the house. So - I picked up some sticky back velcro, stuck it on the bottom of my ink pads, and put a foam applicator pad under there. Works well and all I have to do now is hide the handles from the cat. (Who keeps blaming the dog, but I've got photos to prove that it's him!)
I've been doing this for a while now, and I love it! The only disadvantage I find is when I throw them in a bag for a crop they tend to ink the tops of other pads so you can't use the sticker for color reference, but the pad on the bottom is a much better reperesentation of color anyway so it doesn't really bother me. (hope that makes sense)

The cat pic is too funny.
