March 2013 Card Sketch Challenge

I nearly forgot the card sketch this month.

Nancy, Marianne, I guess I had my eyes closed. So sorry I didn't see your cards sooner. Love both of them. Thanks so much for squeaking in at the end of the month.

I have the sketch and card prepared for April but may not be around a computer on the 1st. So I may post it tomorrow morning. Or else not until the 2nd. Which in my history, is probably early anyway.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter. Gobble Gobble.....er....that's the wrong sound, isn't it? How about cheep cheep. Cuz I don't know what sound a bunny makes. Just wriggle your noses.

Love the cards!
Are the measurements trial and error or is there a math formula involved?
Did everyone cut triangles or did anyone try making the triangles fold over (cut from the same paper used for the card base)?

It's pouring rain right now...I think I need to go make a card or two.

I don't know how every one else did it but I made two separate cards. Cut the rectangle for the front out of patterned paper. Then cut each rectangle into triangles by slicing across the center from point to point. Then I had eight triangles to mix and match. I've always liked that "sketch." Have used it in the past. Great way to mix and match patterned papers.

By the way, Ms. Nancy, I didn't comment on your coloring. You are getting very good at that. Was that done with Inktense or???

Yes, Inktense pencils. My new favorites
