Challenge! (post through 4/30)

Post by pamcook »

Saw this post on another site - sounds like fun.
Use these items on a layout (non-scrapbookers can play, too):

Five patterned papers
Two photos
Two different alphas
One flair (that's a circle shape embellie about the size of a quarter)
One wood veneer (or wood grain paper embellie)
Book paper

Bonus points if you actually use flair and/or wood veneer.

Step out of your comfort zone!

I'm bending the rules a bit but most of it is here.
The second photo is the guys on the tag and the second alpha is either printed or my handwriting. I made the flair myself and the wood veneer is behind the 'lifeguards'. There are also real shells and two eyelets.
And, I used Graphic 45 so that must count for extra points!

Extra bonus points Marianne! Some for using G45 and the others for being creative. The best thing you can do with a challenge is to be creative.

Oh, that's nice, Pam. I sometimes forget I could use patterned papers in little pieces and leave lots of negative space!
Love the photo, too.

Thanks - I used a 6 x 6 travel themed pad for that layout. Didn't want to spend time trying to find scraps that worked for me. I now have a stack of scraps in another color wave I need to use up.

I love this challenge but was sweating the 5 patterns. Thanks for the reminder about the 6 x 6 pads.

:bump:
Are y'all really chickens? ("bok, bok, bok!")
Seriously? Are Marianne and I the only ones brave enough to take on this challenge?

I found a picture and started pulling papers this morning before I left for work. I'm going to try my best to do it when I get home.

I'm such a dork. You can't imagine how happy that makes me!
