watercolor paper questions
Re: watercolor paper questions
Roni at Ink Stains does a lot of watercolor paper comparisons using different media - she's currently doing one using Distress Stains.
Re: watercolor paper questions
Elizabeth mentioned her website yesterday. It was really interesting to see how the different papers took (or didn't take) the Distress markers.
The pad I chose had some mixed reviews for watercolors but I chose it because it was among the least expensive for 12 x 12. I'll use glimmer mists more than watercolors so it's going to be interesting to see how it goes. If I was doing fine art, I'd be a lot more choosy for sure! Hope to do some youtube research on painting with mists today...

Re: watercolor paper questions
if you go back a few days Roni compares
regular watercolors and gelatos on the
different papers
She even did a price comparison of the
papers per inch to give an idea of the
cost between all of the different papers

Just goes to show that I need to check the threads to see if I've missed a post!
