Yes, Jill, that is why they changed the name. We did a topic on it back in February. Maybe you were away. http://www.paperartistsonline.com/forum ... it=expedit

One of the biggest advantages to the Expedit IMO is the depth of the shelves. I originally wanted it specifically for my 12x12 albums, but have come to appreciate it for so much more. I was just lamenting this morning though, that there isn't more room in the drawers. The drawer fronts are misleading; the units themselves have side walls, and then there are the drawer sides as well. The drawers are shallow, so you have to be careful you don't lose things down the back. The other drawback is the colour choices which didn't match my unit, so I altered them instead. Please excuse the dust...

The company claims it is as stable. We'll see what folks have to say about it. They do have a generous return policy. Chris & Mandee bought a love seat. After getting it home, the part under the seat wouldn't stay in place. She called to report it, Ikea simply refunded their money over the phone. They learned to live with a free, slightly defective, love seat.

Thanks Keitha for the review on the drawers. I think I'll use a few baskets (the 12x12-ish cube baskets). I need to really think about what I'll store in it before deciding. Great job on personalizing the drawers! The depth is perfect.

Good job on the storage. Mine is a total mess right now. I have way too many items on all my tables to be organized. I have been working on stamps right now.

I like my Expedit drawers - they're perfect for what I have stored in them and if they were any deeper I'd never find what I'm looking for. I guess it's just a matter of perspective.

Since I just did the big set up of my studio, I thought I'd share a few close ups of the storage I have for things like paints, embossing powders, glitters, twinks, etc. I really like to have things out where I can see them. Otherwise they tend to disappear and I never use them. And, as you all know, I love to alter things, so most of these storage things are repurposed items I've found at the Goodwill or St. Vinnies.

The top picture is my Perfect Pearls, Pearl Ex and Glitter storage. 2 shadow boxes I painted white and lined with paper.

The middle is and old spice rack, again painted white and embellished, used for embossing powders.

The bottom is another repurposed rack used for my distress paints.

These are not really altered storage, just found items turned into storage.

The first is a storage box that some teacups came in, it turned out perfect for my twinks.

The second is some sort of curio that holds stickles wonderfully and I found that when I mounted it this way it made little shelves for my reinkers. Distress stains are on a little shelf underneath.

I really like that curio on the diagonal. There is something like that around here, an orange and plastic CD holder, that I wonder what I could do with it.
