I've moved my Distress Stains to a new home in my studio, and while labeling the tops have noticed that some of the colours seem off to me, particularly in the lighter shades. In particular the Victorian Velvet is coming out pretty much grey, and the Tattered Rose doesn't seem to have any colour at all. Wild Honey is coming out a muddy brick colour - not at all like the ink pads. I haven't labeled them all yet, so don't know if there are others of questionable colour or not.
Has anyone else noticed this happening over time?

I'm not sure if it is still valid but contact ranger

Re: Tim Holtz Distress Stains question
Oh, yes, I received a free one to try when I complained to Ranger about the dried up paint dabbers. It was back when they first came out and they sent me Dusty Concord. It soon changed, and still is, a light green. It happened to a lot of people when they first came out and everyone complained.
Re: Tim Holtz Distress Stains question
I threw away so many of those dried up dabbers. It was a complete waste of money. I only bought one of their new paint to try. I don't have any of the stains.

I have all the stains... let me check... I inked round labels for each color and put them on the caps. Each color is true. Contact Ranger.

Thanks Ladies. I'll definitely check out all my bottles of stain against the corresponding ink pads, and contact Ranger about the ones that have gone off.
