Layouts from online crop

Post by pamcook »

I make a couple of layouts yesterday. Later in the day, I hooked up my Silhouette and reviewed some of Kerri Bradford's classes. Now I feel like I might be able to use it again!

First one - challenge was to make a fall layout - I used a design idea from Irit but with fall PL cards. I found the photos from our trip to the NC mountains in fall 2012 and had some of them printed. I hope to get them all on pages this year.

This one - the challenge was to make a mixed media background (I remembered in the middle of the night that I forgot to mount it on cardstock so it will change a bit with whatever cardstock I use.) I made a background with scraps of paper - gessoed it - stencils - TH dyes - spray mists - molding paste...Took quite a while to clean up! This is my brother, his wife, and their youngest son on the day they too him to enlist in the Army.

Those are really nice, Pam! So different from each other, I love the way you try all different styles of scrapping.

I decided that I never know what my "style" is so I'm going to do them all.

Pam those are both great layouts. I think I'm going to have to just break down and take a couple of online classes. I feel I'm still in a rut.

Try Shimelle's Return to the Collection when it's available again. She's also getting ready to release another online class. I think her prices are reasonable and again, I like that she teaches you WHY.

A couple of really good ones Pam! Like Marianne said so totally different. You are doing a great job with your scrapping. Maybe I need to start following some of the ones you do.
