Nantahala rest stop

We stopped at a little rest stop along the Nantahala RIver. I wanted to just sit on the bank for hours. It was just so peaceful and the river is so beautiful...

I used the off-cut from these Wilna frames as a stencil and painted the squares with my Peerless watercolors. That is a miracle in itself. I bought them at least 10 years ago and had never used them until today. The little frames and flowers are those I cut out yesterday using my Silhouette!!! The tag has been in my stash for about 5 years. I layered and layered it and used a word sticker from who knows when. Can you see the Gold Lame Color Shine spray on the frames? This page has a lot of gold on it and not one speck of glitter. I know!

Those blocks remind me of one of my fave CS papers. Love this. You'll have to explain to me how the cutter works because I expect it's very similar to the Wishblade (which I still have no idea about how to use).

Thanks. I'll use those blocks again, I'm sure. I think they're beautiful. The watercoloring is so fun and so easy.

Pam - I wonder if Kerri Bradford could give you a resource for learning your Wishblade? She's very nice. There's no way on earth I would have figured out the new software on my machine without a class. It's no longer intuitive for anyone like me - who isn't tech-savvy in the least. You have the advantage over me there. Shoot out an email to her (google her blog).

I do plan to bring my Silhouette and spend some time cutting out images.

That's a beautiful layout, Pam! and all the new/old things you used are very exciting! it really is fun to drag out the old stuff and find a spot for it.

Pam, I love your use of old stuff mixed in with the new from Wilna. And hooray for dusting off that Silhouette!
