Fun Day with Jennifer and Stephanie Barnard

Oh. My. Gosh. If you want a fun day that is intense and productive and Stephanie Barnard (AKA: The Stamps of Life and a designer for Sizzix) is in your area teaching...take her class. This is the third time we (Jennifer and I) have taken her card classes and I will do it again next time she's in our area. The class room was packed with 50 women and we were crammed in pretty good. We shared one Big Shot/Cuttlebug for every two people. Stephanie's class kits were well organized but it was a wild time cutting, gluing and a little stamping. So many bits and pieces to each card. Needless to say I didn't leave empty handed. I had to...ahem...acquire a few of Stephanie's fabulous card dies before leaving.

I attended both the morning and afternoon classes. Jennifer joined us for lunch and the afternoon session. We made 3 cards in two hours in each class. Very intense. I finished all but the last one which just needs some embellishing with the die cuts we made. I'll post it when it's done. Maybe Jen finished hers and will post it. I came home exhausted. The "us" also consisted of two our our friends that I meet up with nearly every Wednesday at my LSS and many of you will remember Lucy Grijalva (LucyG) from Club Scrap. She also joined us yesterday.

I feel like a giant. Oh wait...I am. Jen and Stephanie are petite. I am not.

Yes. I known as a Hobbit. But I don't have hairy feet, nor are they large.

It was a great day, albeit stressful for me. Sometimes I feel a tiny bit claustrophobic in those settings.


Farley was much more productive than I. I don't need to post my photos since Farley has done such a grand job of it. Only one of mine was finished but OCAM participants might be seeing mine in the future.
