Storing UM Stamps

Post by EDelValle »

Just found this video on UTube
on UM storage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjflQYXw ... re=related

If you use a 3 ring binder for storage
she has what I think is a great idea
to make your own 8 1/2 x 11" index
sheet

I love the CD idea - I think I might try it after the first of the year. It will save a lot of space for me.

I wish I saw this a long time ago. I really like the index sheet now I will use the tacky glue method from now on!

I use the CD Cases and really like them. I do have some on 8-1/2 x 11 sheets also in a binder - but the CD cases are the best - easy to carry!

A little while back, I redid mine and went with the CD method. I had them in binders, but my binder sheets kept coming out and it was REALLY heavy. PLUS, I go to KMart's and get the blank CD cases, I get 10 for $2.99!

I have started unmounting my block stamps and putting them in a 3 ring binder with ez foam mount. I love it. It saves so much space.

As you know, I have been unmounting my stamps on blocks and putting the ez mount on the back of them to use on acrylia blocks. Wow! What a difference that has made. I have 2 notebooks full of all my stamps. I love it. I found stamps that I forgot that I had. I think I will use my stamps more now I am have such a easy way of looking at them.

Yay for finding lost treasures Laurie!!! I have been on an organizing spree. I got rid of all the boxes I had and found new homes for my stuff. I do better when I can see my things and not have to search through boxes. I keep my UMs in CD cases and store the cases in a wooden box that I recycled!
