LO #3. This is granddaughter Ashley with her Mom, brother Jak and stepdad CJ. Whenever I resize it always makes the photo blurry, it's not IRL. This is Ashley's graduation that was held at CU in Boulder this last May. It poured rain and we had to park 2 blocks away, we looked like wet rats when we got there.....but so did a lot of other people too. It was the coolest graduation. They even served nachos!! Very nice event. This also goes with the second sketch in the July Scrapbooking Challenge of Jen's. That white paper is some I got out of the RAK box that went around a couple months ago.

LO #4. This is Caitlin with her 2 best friends hiking at Vedauwoo.

Journaling reads:

Vedauwoo is an area of rocky outcrops located

in southeastern Wyoming, United States, north

of Interstate 80, between Laramie and Cheyenne.

Its name, according to some, is an romanized

version of the Arapaho word "bito'o'wu" meaning

"earth-born".

I used the attached sketch from Shimelle for inspiration.

Debbie! You're doing such a great job with that kit! Love the layouts. I did notice you used a sketch from a challenge here - so BONUS points to you! :cool5:

I still need to choose which kit I want to kill...

LO #6. This is the end of the kit. I have a few stickers and alphabets left over, but I used a lot of other stuff that wasn't in the kit too. I think this was a kit from Peachy Cheap or whatever that place is called instead of Hip Kit. Glad it's gone. This was Ashley's graduation announcement. I love that girl! Instead of spending 4-500 dollars on announcements she went to Hallmark and made her own. Smart girl. She just bought herself a brand new Chevy Cruze and had saved 5,000 for a down payment. She is a lifeguard at the community center in Thornton Co., and works at Starbucks too. She's going to college this fall to be an ER nurse.
