Color Burst card
Color Burst card
Had to make a card for Daughter's Day, something we do in our family that Hallmark doesn't cover. Had a play with Color Burst powders, this time on a facial tissue. Then when dry I adhered that to cardstock with gel medium; love the texture that results. Flowers are watercolour stamped, then fussy cut and adhered. I own a darn envelope punch board, so made the envelope, too.

Love the background - maybe I need to stop buying the tissues with lotion in them??
Re: Color Burst card
That's really pretty. I ordered some Color Bursts from Blitsy and am anxious to give them a try.

Wow! Love that idea. We may need to play around with that at the beach. I'm bringing the Color Bursts that I have. I have so many things I want to try we might need another week ;o)

I totally missed the part about adhering the tissue to the card. I thought it was just being used to pounce the Color Bursts on. Reminds me that somewhere I saved a baby wipe that has color burst all over it but didn't think about what to do with it yet.
