I was in bed with a good book. Such an exciting life we lead here. We didn't even open the sparkling grape juice.
I wish each of you a happy, healthy, prosperous and crafty new year!

Happy New Year, my wishes to you are the same - health, happiness & creativity!
We had a fairly quiet night with my folks and sister & BIL. They went home at 10 because the fireworks drive their dog crazy. Then New Years day my son & his girlfriend came over for a New Year's Day dinner and had such a great time. My folks left this morning at 6 am and we took down the tree and cleaned the house. Back to "normal"

Re: Happy New Year!
I'm late to the new years party here, but also wanted to wish everyone a happy healthy creative new year!
I tried to get myself off on the right foot, and did a weightlifting class on Saturday, followed by zumba on Sunday. I've done these classes back to back before without any trouble, but something very bad happened on Sunday, and at some point during the zumba class something in my back either pulled or pinched or something terrible, and I've been dragging my right leg around behind me for the last two days. So much for trying out the new class on the schedule tonight. So I'll just need to go with the second part of my new year plan which is to make a healthy choice for dinner. Hopefully this kink will have itself worked out by the weekend.
