Use those stickers!
Re: Use those stickers!
Love this layout? I'm curious about the USA sticker also. The hearts (if that's what it is) is a fantastic idea! I would never have though of repurposing a sticker like that.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Sure did. I thought long and hard about when I'd use a USA map sticker - and given that I have never used one before, and I was annoyed this set didn't have stars or hearts ( ), I just punched them out. I think it was one of Irit's videos where I first saw that idea - now nothing is safe from my punches.nancine wrote:You did a great job with using those stickers!
Is it the hearts punched out of the USA?

Here is my attempt, this is 3rd granddaughter Allyson with her boyfriend Chase. They make such a cute couple. He's fighting wild fires for the 4th season for the BLM. She's getting ready to go to her 2nd year of college in Casper, WY

Pam and Debbie what fantastic LOs! Perfect fit for the photos.
I enjoyed this challenge and may try another one. But I think my LO is so busy you can't find the photo of my granddaughter Vanessa! I really liked this sticker set from Echo Park and used one sheet of the cloud printed paper for the background making it really, really busy. I did however use over 20 stickers! Now I'll see if I can get a card out of what's left.

It's beautiful and I love how the arrow draws your eye right to the photo. I know what you mean though about photos getting lost in a layout. When that happens, mine usually look better with a solid color matte. Some times, I leave it because I love it.

Hey thanks everyone!
Funny thing Pam about matting the photo. I started out that way with the pink behind it but then I realized (after gluing photo down) on the right side of the photo was the backsides of my husband's ex-wife...hence that green strip blocking her out. That caused a chain reaction of trying to make that green strip look like it's supposed to be there. From there it went a bit downhill and got even busier. But I'm happy with my efforts and really want to try another "use-it-sticker" LO.

Great layout Farley, and fun to hear your process/reasoning for the final changes. I think the photo is more intriguing because the viewer doesn't know what Vanessa is looking at.
