mixed media class page
mixed media class page
Another page for my Naturalist watercolour journal class. My original intent was to do a selection of feathers but I don't have any others at the moment, so this morphed into something else. I printed my photo on canvas; the text, courtesy of a West Indies field guide is printed on tissue. I made my own stencil for the title using QuicKutz dies, and added bird egg washi.

Gorgeous Keitha! My favorite colors.
I also love Peacocks, our youngest son & his family have 2 young ones and a nephew and neice raise them. I used to have a bunch of Peacock feathers but also no longer.

It's so pretty! The colors are gorgeous.
I made a mixed media piece using a peacock feather. Julie Fen (?) used it on her TV show episode. I ended up scrapbooking the page with the letter from the producer. I've still never seen the episode but it was still quite an honor.

I almost didn't mention it because I'm sure it would take all weekend to find it. If I run across it, I promise I will.Keitha wrote:That is an honor! But you can't tell us that story without showing us your project/page!pamcook wrote:It's so pretty! The colors are gorgeous.

Well! That was easier than I thought. 2011? Time flies when you're having fun.

Keitha this blows me away. All of your elements are perfect and so well done. The way you did your stencil is really clever too. Awesome!
