Question for Pam C or other Shimelle class aficionados

Post by Keitha »

Hey Pam, was just reading about Shimelle's new class "Behind the Scenes Scrapbooking." As I hope to embark on my Alaska album sometime soon and haven't completely decided what I'm doing yet, I thought I might sign up for this; plus, I always find Shimelle classes to be of value. But here's the thing; I haven't taken a class of hers in awhile, and in the description she mentions videos. Can you tell me if all her class content these days is presented via video, or does she do any kind of handout or anything else now? I have to say while I like video for some things, it's not my favourite method of online class instruction; means you have to have a computer at hand to refer to the class.

She still makes a pdf for each lesson. The videos are more informal but still the best online classes I’ve found.

Behind the Scenes Scrapbooking starts today! I've watched Shimelle's first video, and hope to join in the live Q&A in a few minutes as it's quiet in the office. It's wonderful, after all these years of seeing her layouts, to get this behind the scenes look at her process for tackling a large group of photos. While her process differs from mine I'm already thinking of a couple of changes I'll likely make.

Well, that was fun! Even if I did get interrupted a few times.
I kept wanting to type comments (like we do in Facebook).

Now back to work (while printing a few photos).

I enjoyed watching her scrapbook the Disney photos.... because then she showed the continuity and scrapping pages with multiple photos... much better thought process than watching someone make a one-photo layout. I don't ever take just ONE photo... LOL

I was having photo printer problems and ran out of grey ink AGAIN. This class is really good.
