You'd think I like red, wouldn't you?!

Tired of looking for the tree skirt, the garlands and the other Santas. :wtf:

Hooray! Went to the storage buildings with George and found the missing Santas, the missing Nativity, the missing Christmas pillows AND the missing tree skirt.

Never send men to do a woman's job. Now if I could only find the missing garlands.

I love everything! Your tree with it’s mixed bag of ornaments is very similar to how we decorate our tree. That garland over the red archway is fabulous and so is your red door and wreath. I am envious of the rider and horse taking the fence with a wreath in hand. Adorable. It’s those little things with the stories that create the traditions and make holidays so special.

The steeplechaser is a nod to the Irish side of the family. There's also a Scottish Santa for my heritage. The Western Santa is the foal version of Jim's horse, Grendel. And yes, she could be as obnoxious as the other Grendel. :-o My dad is represented in 2 of the Santas - both look very much like him. As for the tree, every year we all pick out new ornaments for ourselves, and everywhere we've visited we've brought back ornaments. I need to scrapbook photos of all of it and journal the stories behind them for whoever inherits all of this mess!
