This is a really good idea for cards to have on hand. A look at my dies and stamps confirms I have absolutely no sympathy-related sentiments beyond a generic 'thinking of you' or 'sending hugs' - but I plan to remedy that.

I'm playing catch up with this challenge, as I thought it was a good one. I don't know about a 'stack' of cards though...
The first card is inspired by Nichol Spohr; I liked her idea to use bright colours to celebrate a life well lived. The inside is currently blank.

The second card is more subdued. Can't tell you the last time I used an embossing folder. I stamped 'with sympathy' on the inside.
