This is copied from something I saw online awhile ago - gotta love Pinterest. Although they're probably no longer trendy I always like shaker cards and should make more of them. Those gold Beadazzles have been in my stash for at least 15 years. Sorry for the angle; that black glass mat reflects the overhead light terribly.

Who cares if trendy or not? Your card is jaw-dropping-gorgeous! (And shakers are still very popular)

That is a beautiful card, trendy or not.
I hated shaker cards, I tried them. Getting the mounting tape all around the opening made me crazy. A couple weeks ago I was watching a Jennifer McGuire video and had a eureka moment. She was cutting out fun foam to make her raised items on her card. I thought for a moment and actually had a good idea. I cut two card front size pieces of fun foam and then used my circle die to cut a circle out of each piece. Glued the two together, filled them with beads I have had lying around for ages (from CS days when you go the little plastic filled with beads) and then glued some clear plastic on the top. Sandwiched it between my card base and decorated card front. It was so easy to do. I am sure than someone else much smarter than I thought of this sometime ago, but it was a lightbulb moment for me.

Wonderful card! I'd heard about the fun foam but I haven't bought any yet. It looks so much easier then using foam tape though, and way to go!

Yes, diecutting fun foam certainly eliminates the worry about gaps. I like how you layered the banner over top.
