Bridal shower decorations

Post by nchoney »

So... one of the girls in our office is getting married Sunday.... yep... Cinco de Mayo..

Her employees hadn't even thought of planning a shower... when I asked them on Monday... sigh .... so these are what I've been working on the past few evenings.... but it paid off... the decorations all looked great and she was surprised and thinks we've been planning it for weeks. Yay!! Lots of cutting and scoring and folding and gluing... I'm glad the pinwheels held up and stayed hanging on the wall... whoohhooooo!!

I was wondering what I was going to do this evening since I didn't need to make Cinco de Mayo stuff.... but then it hit me... I need to clean up the crazy mess I made the past few nights... I had everything neat and tidy and packed and ready to take to re(create) and now it's all a mess again... LOL

Debi you are indeed the Queen of Decorations! Leave it to you to be the thoughtful one in the office. I bet she was thrilled and touched by all of that. Awesome decorations. Lettering Delights by any chance?

Wow, I can't imagine whipping that all together in a few nights. Just the folding....  That wall decoration is outstanding.

The folding for the pinwheels didn't take too long... I spent more time praying that those things would stay glued together. It stayed together the whole day, though.... yay!! And she took it with her to pass along to the folks decorating for her reception. It's a small wedding since it's a second one for each of them. It'll be fun to see if they make it through the reception. :-)
