layer of felt, fused to tissue paper, layers of paint and stamping.(more stamping to come once I begin working on the piece)
It's very calming with little thought need initially. Sometimes I like that.

able to get 1 piece 8x9 inches for little hanging and 2 atcs from one piece of felt

here is an ATC I made
(the large piece is a one of a kind for my surprise ball receipiant (sp) )

Randomly sewed lines all over using gold metallic thread.
paper heart from specialty papers inked with gold ink & sewn on.

It looks like its made like serendipity squares, yes? Do you tear small pieces of tissue paper and iron it on the felt? Am I also seeing printed papers in there or stamping?

I took a piece of felt, fused a piece of plain tissue paper to one side (used steam a seam2) then using gel medium just glued on pieces of scrapbook paper, note paper, pages from books, sewing patterns etc. Covered the whole thing with several colors of acrylic paint (but can use whatever coloring agent you want--each one gives different results) then stamped all over with various stamps and versa fine black ink.
Cut to whatever size you need

you can also do this using cheap muslin & watered down book binding glue--I like the felt though it feels more sturdy
