A birthday card

Post by pugmom »

I haven't accomplished much lately, except sitting at my desk thinking about all the cards and pages I want to make. I can see so many things in my head, but just haven't been able to get any farther than that.

I've been thinking about this birthday card for a while and was finally able to put it together this morning. This is for my friend who lives on a lake about an hour south of us (in Shelby) and is an avid kayaker. When I showed it to my husband, he said "it looks just like her". Success! I had to do some manipulating, as the head and body are from two different Silhouette files.

I have a pile of pictures printed and ready to scrap so, hopefully, this will jump start my mojo.

What a lucky friend!

I hope you do get some more creating done. I know that feeling though. Once I get started again, I feel like a new person.

Yes. They are all cut files from Silhouette Studio.
Thank you all for the lovely comments.

Stunning card, Sue. Two things to aspire to: creating cards half as good as yours, and enough confidence in my paddling ability to venture beyond the shallow water around the dock, LOL.
