This is inspiration from Khristina Sorge daily live on Facebook. This technique is called starburst with using tone on tone hearts. I liked how they turned out. She is a real inspiration!
The first photo is my oldest daughter with her husband. The second is my middle granddaughter, Allyson. I got carried away with the splatters and got a few on Ally.

That Christmas layout is just gorgeous. I love the vintage look of it and the photo. And you really captured the excitement of a New Year on Allyson's layout.
