This is the artwork I think of when I think of our national park system. Going to actually open the link and check the prices!

My niece collects that artwork. When we were at Rushmore and so on in 2019 I picked her up postcards from each park and a poster from Rushmore in the same style. I love the vintage vibe of that style!

Pam go for the big bundle on sale!

Love these and it reminds me of my family’s cross country road trips in the 50s and 60s from CA to NJ every other year with stops at NPs along the way as well as going to NPs on alternate years. My mom loved to go to the NPs whenever possible.

I have serious road trip fever!

I've had several NP calendars over the years. Sometimes the preview of each month's image on the back of the calendar makes the perfect scrapbook page embellishment - I've got one for Glacier Bay coming to a layout in the near future.

I wish I had purchased postcards from all of the places we've been - Chris has a good collection of them that his grandfather mailed to him whenever he was traveling.

Years - wait, decades ago, I saw a little mini-album project where the gal had taken a handful of postcards and bound them together with binder rings, adding some journaling and bits of ephemera and letting the fronts stand in for the photos. I guess that stayed with me, because when I travel I always search out multiple postcards per trip. Not that I've made any mini-albums with them mind you, but the possibilities exist :D About 18 years ago on one of my cross-country trips in the big truck during a work hiatus (I had a good friend who was a long-distance trucker, and I would occasionally jump in the truck and go on his runs with him), I sent postcards back to my co-workers from all our stops. California's a long drive from Ontario, and although I mostly only got into truck stops I was able to buy postcards and stamps. When I went back to work after that trip I found all the postcards taped to my office window, so I still have the collection. Haven't looked at it in years; I should pull it out and see where we went!
