Free kit weekend

Post by pamcook »

Got to admit it, I’ve not looked at Scrapbook Generations website in many years. They have a special starting tomorrow when you can get a free kit with minimum order. Looks like they do this once a month?

Their store is only 15 minutes from Chris & Mandee! Looking forward to seeing it.

Yes, they do a free kit every month - I have several. They also have a facebook page with monthly challenges.

Of course it's this weekend. I blew a ton last weekend on 6x6 pads.

just went looking....

they sell mini-slimline pads of paper.... 3.5 x 6 ... I think the sky ones are pretty but... I think I can print some of my own photos as 5x7 and cut them down... might give that a try for a fun change!

That is a brilliant idea. I think of those random photos I take of flowers, trees, sky, beach... They could make nice cards!

That sounds like a great idea, Debi and Pam! They might even turn into Christmas cards... :tomato:

So I started to go through my immediate layouts I have queued up to do, and figured I should shop SG for maybe some embellishments or titles or whatever. I had my cart up to $100 when I got myself calmed down and weeded out a few things. I haven't gotten a page kit from them in forever, so I'm sure whatever is in the free kit is also something I don't have. Some of what I had in my cart I realized that I could cut something super similar with my cricut... I just need to remember to do it.

Anyway, my purchase should help with my title and embellishment and general "finishing" of these 6x6 paper pad layouts.
