Taking A Few Months Off!

Post by paddlegal »

I’ve wrestled with myself doing this but I am just too unfocused right now to continue my monthly card challenge. So I am taking a few months off and regrouping. My hope is after my husband’s remembrance afternoon has happened in September I will be feeling a little better and refreshed to possibly restart the monthly card challenge. I will just have to wait and see where my head is.

The past few weeks have been daunting to say the least with getting food poising that knocked me out for 3 days. Then when I recovered my close friend and birding buddy let me know she tested positive for covid! Swell. So I quarantined myself, (I am vaccinated) took a covid test which thankfully was negative but I had a little wait for results. My friend is also vaccinated but the good thing is her symptoms were not too horrible and she’s back on her feet again.

Happily I am headed out of town Friday for the first time in 4 years! I need a break. I’m going down to southern CA to be with family and attend my niece’s college graduation.

Please know how much I have appreciated all of your support and understanding. I am not disappearing. Just taking a break from some of my obligations.

Love you all so much.

Oh, Farley, take all the time you need. You need to take care of yourself right now.
Have a safe trip and enjoy the time with your family.

We love you and will still be here when you're ready to come back.

Take all the time off you need. As someone who has taken several "time out" periods from crafting to try to regroup, I can attest that this group has always been super welcoming regardless of how long I was gone. Be well, take care of yourself, and we look forward to your return.
