There was another chance to get quarantine rooms this week. Cara tried to enter the whole family but Mia’s passport is expired because the consulate was closed because of lock down and although they have an appointment in a few weeks - didn’t matter. They were able to enter for Riz alone. He was #24,000+ for the hopes of getting one of the 2900 rooms available through 2/2022. No one knows when the next chances will open up.

Some good news - they’re all coming here for a visit. Do they have quarantine rooms to go home? Nope. They have Plans A - Q ready and have to wait for their power-crazed PM to make her next move(s). Still thousands of Kiwis around the world trying to get home.
We’ll have them here for a few weeks and that’s all I can think about. Will meet up with Chris & his family in Ohio for the memorial service honoring Joel’s mom (finally).
Going to be a busy month.

Oh fun! Maybe if they can’t go home to New Zealand they can just stay with you until the kids get married! I’d go for that. I might have to buy a bigger house but hey, what ever it takes!
