Our first time together for Christmas since 2017! It’s noisy and there are so many packages already under the tree and I’ve heard “I’m bored!” so many times and I treasure every second.

Merry Christmas ladies! I’m busy cooking for tomorrow. Jo and her family will be down tomorrow, I’m making ham, green bean casserole, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls and for dessert we have pumpkin pie, chocolate pie and I made a strawberry pretzel dessert. I’m making sure they take all the leftovers home too!

Merry Christmas to all! It will be quiet here tomorrow, just Grumpy, the dogs & myself. The kids are coming Sunday, so I’m spending my time cooking favorites so they can take home the leftovers…you kinda know they’re looking forward to it when they show up with their own “to go” containers.

It will be a quiet day here for us, our daughter
and her husband spent last night with us for
a few hours which was nice. Our son and family
will need to isolate for a few days and then be
tested, they were exposed to the virus with two
different friends during the past week and will
need to be tested. They don't want to take a
chance of coming to see us and then coming up
positive. Hopefully we will see them for the
entrance of the New Year.

Happy Christmas! Just Brian and I, so it was a quiet day. After a week of grey miserable weather, the sun shone, so we had a walk round the village for a breath of fresh air. We chatted with family after lunch, so it had been a nice day.
