Ollie's Station
Ollie's Station
I've lots of Route 66 photos still not scrapped, so that's my focus for a bit. This restaurant in a corner of Tulsa, OK was one giant photo op. Perhaps too busy a page, but I prefer to think of it as having lots to discover. The All Aboard collection by Steven Duncan for Carta Bella was perfect, although on such a photo-heavy page you don't see much of it. Scrapbook Generations sketch - they're some of the best for lots of photos IMO.

WOW! looks like it was a fun place to
stop. Your page captures the model train
atmosphere perfectly.

There is a lot going on, but it really tells the story and I think you've done it very well.
What a fun place to visit!

It’s great!
The rows of photos makes it easier on the eye when you have a lot of photos (IMHO). And I agree that the SG sketches are really good for two page layouts.

It looks like a very cool place.

I love this kind of 2 page spread for trips! While the photos are busy, the lines of paper borders above and below add order. Then some embellishments at the top and bottom add interest. This really makes me want to revisit some of my travel albums!
Re: Ollie's Station
I love it! The paper collection is perfect, of course. I noticed the little clocks and the paper that looked like switched tracks before I read the name of the collection, and I thought it was perfect before saw the title.
I find that when I want to use a Scrapbook Generation sketch where it calls for side-by-side photos, I sometimes like to use a photo mat on every other one, just to offer a bit of separation. Most of the time I'm too lazy to make that adjustment, but sometimes it's just necessary for some of the sketches.
