Life Outside of Art?

I more than likely will be very unproductive for the next 1-2 weeks. The flooded bathroom is finally being taken care of. New flooring, new cabinet - including sinks and countertop, fresh paint (walls need repair), and a new horizontal cabinet to replace the vertical linen cabinet. Why horizontal? Can't find a vertical anywhere, so it would have to be custom made. I'm not wild about having another one, so opted for something that I fell in love with that will fit the bill.

So, I've made the s/crap room into the cat hang out. Never knew there were so many things they could decide to play with in here! Until the bathroom is finished, this is going to be cat haven.

The things we do for our furry babies! This was almost as labor intensive as packing up the bathroom.

And of course I just realized that I haven't done the first LO for Max, Taz and the new baby - Nosy Rosie!

Sounds like a lot of chaos for a good reason! I'm still discovering what my furbabies can and will get into, and it's forcing changes around the house I hadn't intended to make prior to the new fluffs. I'm heading to California for vacation on April 12 and won't be back until late on the 20th, so hopefully things will run smoothly while I'm gone! It's a me only trip, so DH gets the fun of single parenting kittens.

No, I'm actually meeting my sister in San Jose, then we're going to San Fran for a couple days before meandering our way down to Upland (where she lives) for a couple days before I head home. No Disney planned for this trip!

Well.... I talked a bit with my sister last night.... and she told me we're going to Disneyland Thursday. She'd already put in for the day! (you have to with annual passes) So it looks like I'm doing a bit of Disney after all.

The reno has come to a halt after I emptied it out. Darned thing echoes now and the cats are confused.

My builder/reno guy has Covid, so he's running a little bit late getting started.

It wouldn't be my life if there wasn't a snag!

Well, I guess the good thing is that he got Covid BEFORE he started so he didn't share his nasty germs with you. You may have dodged a bullet there.
