The first one for today, of Heimlich's Chew Chew Train ride from A Bug's Land, which is now the Avengers campus at DCA.

Love the Simple Stories paper LOs, especially the ombre look you got with the first one.

Don't laugh, but our favorite "not a ride" was the Bear Jamboree. There's buhlud on the saddle, buhlud on the ground. That and Hall of Presidents. The animatromics (sp?) blew us away, but that was in the early '70s, so I expect things are even more amazing now.

Oh, I love the Country Bear Jamboree! They still have it in Magic Kingdom at WDW, although at the moment it's getting a much needed refurbishment and a slight update. And the Hall of Presidents is amazing. I still remember seeing Abe Lincoln at Disneyland when I was 13, although the Hall of Presidents I only recall from Epcot. I also love the Carousel of Progress, which is unchanged aside from the last scene.

American Crafts' April & Ivy line (as was the Heimlich's layout). I actually love some of the B sides of this, although I'd have a hard time working with some of the A sides. This area is part of what remains from the original California Adventure park, tucked behind Grizzly Bear Run.

The class I'm working through at the moment is on working with big photos, but I opted to simply create a 'big' photo using 4x6 cut down to whatever I needed.

Another layout using April & Ivy! The original layout was supposed to have an 8x10 photo, but I'm a rebel and made it my own!

We spent our Honeymoon at WDW too!! What a blast and love the Country Bear Jamboree and Hall of Presidents! Space Mnt was another favorite along with Pirates of the Caribbean (I think I would have been a pirate in years past). :happywave:
Love the pages, Monica - they bring back such fond memories. My nephew chaperoned his 11yo daughter's class to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, on Friday. I took him there 42 years ago. He had never been on a roller coaster, and I had to bet him that if he rode the Loche Ness Monster with me, I'd eat escargot. Well, he did and I did - one of the best memories we've ever made together :happy94:. Too bad that was before cell phones  .
Find time each day to rejoice in the journey...

What a fun memory, Cheryl! Maybe you two should recreate that day, then you can document then and now!

Still using the April & Ivy kit. Another layout that was originally for a larger photo but it worked well with pictures from the Storybook Land Canal Boats ride.

Last layout with April & Ivy. This was over in California Adventure, in the docks area that's now known as San Fransokyo in honor of Big Hero 6.

Starting another handful of layouts using Echo Park's Telling Our Story line. Yep, another class! So here's my first layout:
