Found a new designer

Lorie Davison is a designer over at scrapbookgraphics. Her big kits are pricey, but they are full of some neat things.

Gorgeous designs - the prices aren't any worse than others I've seen. I'm just not talented enough to use her beautiful kits.

Wow! Very, very different indeed. I bookmarked it, for when I'm looking for something different. I haven't quite evolved to that point yet. That stuff looks way too sophisticated for me. I wouldn't know what to do with most of it either. I did see some quick pages that I liked though - I think seeing the bits and pieces put together as a design definitely helps my perspective.

I discovered something early on in my digital scrapping. Those 'complicated' kits? All you have to do is pretty much throw pieces on a background paper and they will look pretty darned good. It's hard to do a random mess with a good designer, because the pieces go together so well. Honestly.
