Has anyone ever tried tinting their crackle paints? I only have a couple of colors but I wonder what would happen if you added a bit of paint? Sounds like an experiment in the works for tonight - unless anyone has time right now to give it a try...

I use crackle medium instead--that way I can make the crackles any color I want.

I have some of Tim's crackle paint and I really don't like it. I much prefer to use crackle medium and whatever color of paint that floats my boat.

I'm prepping as well! I have made 16 tags--extra in case I make a mistake--out of old manila files. :

Thanks for the idea - we have a bunch of old manila file folders here at work that will be perfect for the big tags
