I've probably mis-spelled it. The Italian Lemon Liqueur? I bought some thinging it would be like drinking a Lemon Drop. Nope - it's more like drinking lemon-scented Pledge. Gak!
Does anyone have any recipes for using this that will tone down that Pledge scent?
Limoncello?

yucky...don't even know what it is. Not much of a drinker here...if I do imbibe it's either whiskey and water or a good Margarita....
Re: Limoncello?
Add it to an iced tea maybe?
Re: Limoncello?
An Aussie friend gave us a bottle of it at Christmas and we have drunk the whole thing since the weather warmed up. We liked it! Have you kept it in the fridge and then poured it over ice? We used the little glasses that came with it so one normal ice cube about filled the glass and then you pour the liqueur over it.
In iced tea sounds good. How about over vanilla ice cream?

We drank the heck outta that stuff when we were in Italy and Greece--even brought some home--we did shots!!
Re: Limoncello?
My daughter said to marinate chicken with it - supposed to be the best marinade ever.
Yes, it was ice-y cold and I poured it over ice. It's that lemon oil smell I can't get past.
