I've made my own before also, but I found her recipe interesting. Hair spray? Hmmm.. I wouldn't have thought of substituting that for water. I imagine that the purpose is to help the powder ingredients stick, but I wonder if the overall mist would dry sticky, or worse - gum up the mister? I'd be interested to hear if anyone tries it what the sticky factor is.
