PSL Stencil Week
PSL Stencil Week
I've missed all of you for the past few days. I've peeked in now and then, but haven't had time to hang out and comment. I'm sitting in sunny Phoenix this morning, Saturday, and shortly will be hitting the road to San Diego. But someone asked to see PSL shtuff, so before hitting breakfast, I'll do a dump and run.
Some of you will recall that my eldest nephew's middle-school team won first place in AZ in the 2008-2009 Future City engineering competition. I scrapped their experience a while back. His younger brother has been competing the past two years and the 2010-2011 competition is his last. His team placed second in AZ a couple of weeks ago. These photos were taken at a public exhibition, not a competition. I'm proud of him, what can I say!

Re: PSL Stencil Week
A few more.
I had fun with the sax stencil. I don't love the LO, but done is done. The bottom layer and notes layer are Staz-On opaque white, second sax layer is Perfect Medium, all layers then brushed with gold Perfect Pearls and misted with water. I didn't know the Staz-On would grab a little of the Perfect Pearls, but I really like the result.

nice layouts

These are from a 6x6 that I'm doing with Joe's gratitude pics. He won't do a journal, but he'll take photos. He's working on an attitude adjustment.

Re: PSL Stencil Week
One more. It was intended for the rub-on challenge from Marianne, but I only put 4 on, missed the 5th.
And these snowflakes were bears, took a lot of heating to get them to work. I'll add another when I get home.

Beth they are all wonderful! I love how your sax turned out. I have not yet used that stencil. Great job. Enjoy your trip and bring warm back with you.

Hi Beth--waving to you---
Love the layouts! When did you get the time? I like the layout of the piano, and the sax! And the puppy is so cute!

Those are all really nice. Of course, I love the snow pics on the Retro green. I'm not going to be a real stickler on number of rubons, I just wanted it to be more of a challenge than just using 1 so I picked a random uneven number.
Re: PSL Stencil Week
These are all great Beth - you have some amazing kit choices there! Matrix was perfect for the competition, and I too love the snow pics on Retro. They're all really great!
And, I have to give you big kudos for PSLing on the go!

Beth, this layout is absolutely stunning! I have never been a big fan of this kit but WOW! The snow pics are perfect on this!
Re: PSL Stencil Week
Thanks, ladies. I had a cold, Paula, and took a day and a half off work. I was able to get more done than I had expected.
