One down
Re: One down
Isn't it great?? It was the easiest surgery I ever had with the absolute best results. So far, that's the only perk I've found that comes with aging.
My insurance would only pay to have either near or far sighted, but not both. (Thank goodness I have better insurance now that I'm retired than I did at the Agency. Go figure.) I opted for reading glasses, and they're only 1.25, so I'm a hair from 20/20. Outside of the sunglasses habit, I now buy reading glasses everywhere - orange, blue, black, brown, rimless - you name it. Unfortunately, I leave them laying everywhere and I'm always wandering around looking for them.

Oh lucky you - my Dad had that a couple years ago and just marveled at how well he could see having been near-sighted almost his entire life! My BIL has one that's not quite bad enough yet, but he's looking forward to the surgery.
Must be a whole new look on life!
