ooooohhhh! These are all wonderful Spring things! You have all inspired me!

I just put away the 3 boxes of Christmas stamps/things and I'm up to 2 boxes of Valentines stamps/things...thought I would get out the "birds" box and the "spring" box later after checking online, but you have all inspired me, so I'm out of here until I unearth those boxes and get started...I have birds ATCs to make anyway...

Here's my entry. It's also a spoiler for the bird ATC swap. The background is a variety of printed papers overlapped with gel medium onto watercolor paper. I added my latest favorite stamp - french script. The focal image is "Bird in the Hand" from Invoke Arts. Added a "w" from a stack. to finish it off. The bid is tamped on acetate.
Thanks for looking.

Pam, did you say daffodils?

I stamped the frame and daffodil with stamps borrowed from Annette a few months back, and never got around to assembling them on a card front. DD colored them in with Copic markers, but I don't think she's ever seen a real daffodil :? What's cool about the card, that you can't see from the scan, is that the frame is raised up on foam tape, and the bottom of the daffodil is tucked in behind, but the top sticks out on top. So it's kinda dimensional. Black card is Wheel & Sprocket and the yellow is Rhapsody, I think. I'm forgetting my kits! Not sure if that's old age or the fact that I'm here more than there. :wtf:

OH lots of nice work, ladies!
Pattie-- yes that (the tucked in daffodill) is cool, and the colors work well together.

Nice LOs and pics Paula. Love the colors in both!

The ATC is wonderful, and I hope one comes my way, Rinda.

And Debbie-- I think your card is beautiful!

I always love finding the wild violets tucked in under the trees. To me they say "spring" more than the daffy-dills.

I'm trying to learn to use those watercolors that have been collecting dust for who knows how long. Not great, but getting there.

I remember Johnny Jump ups! I have not seen them in years!
Great job on the violets, Pam. Aren't water colors fun to play with?
