These are wonderful! I've often wanted a better gift card holder than the ones you can purchase. This will definitely be a "keeper" of an idea.

Oh sewing is a great idea Jill! I don't have a machine but I always like the look of the stitching on many of our paper projects. Please add photos of what you've done (10!!!) and also any that you sew.

And I haven't found the time to make one. Hopefully tomorrow.

Nicole - we've all been frustrated. Keep at it. Imperfections are opportunities for embellishment. So good to see your smiling face!

Julie - I've never tried glass etching. Let us know how it goes!

Love all of these! Hope I get a chance to try this out this month. Who'd have thought the wedding flowers would suck all my time up? :-o

I'm just now revisiting this thread because Nicole and I *finally* got back to this project last night and started actually putting all of the pieces together. I wanted to go back and look at the originals here, because I had forgotten what was done for the bands. Our bands are actually considerably more generic - we were just using that leftover inch of cardstock and a circle punch. The bands seemed far too plain when I saw them done, so maybe I can find a way to embellish them before Friday. But the first priority will be to get everything that's already been cut put together. We finished up about 20 last night, and there are pieces cut for probably another 20. I'm thinking we got a bit overzealous when pulling out pretty holiday papers. :-)

So we're setting up for our first booth Friday night, and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures of our display after it's all set up. We've got such a large random assortment of stuff, that working out the display has probably taken me about as much time as working on the glass and the cards! LOL.

Thanks again for the challenge Farley. I can't wait to show you how they all turned out, and (hopefully) even give a sales report. :D

Better late, right?
Our son must be grown up now - asking for Lowe's gift cards for Christmas.

Julie I am looking forward to seeing your booth and what all you are selling. To speed things up just put some kind of holiday sticker on the bands. Like envelope seals for example would work or a 3D sticker. I bet you have some in your stash somewhere, I know I do!

Pam your wallet turned out great. It's perfect for the Lowe's card.
