Started my DC scrapbook and wanted to document our visit to the National Archives. We weren't allowed to take photos so I went to their website and used this National Archives Seal that is free to use. This is the only place in DC that we had to wait in line. We were there well before they opened and were in line at least an hour. Mostly buses full of school kids ahead of us. It's free to enter also. I even used an ancient Club Scrap stencil!!

Here's my entry. I think I can get about 5 or 6 more layouts with that kit.
That's Zain with his daddeamma (Pakistani grandma) and the Zain, Riz, & Mia in the other photo. Taken in April when they were in Pakistan visiting family.

Catching up on my weekly chronicles. This one all the way back in January. Watching is the prompt. This is our old labby Cinder and I at the lake. We take it one day at a time with her. 13 is pretty old for a lab.

]Here is a card I did this morning. A friends mother just passed and and wanted to make another card. This is Stampin' Up! card stock, ink & Dazzling Diamonds. The embossing folder is a new one I picked up the other day from Darice that is 5 x 7 Corner Scroll Background. The sayings & stencil are from Club Scrap. This is front & inside:

I made a couple of cards for the 4th of July. Sorry to be posting them before they may be received by the recipients but I am crunched for time tomorrow.

Used the Fancy Edge Flip It die along with hot4balloons stamps and dies, all from The Stamps of Life. The paper is from BoBunny. I hope these things qualify as die cuts.

Sorry I haven't been more involved. I hope to have some crafty time over the 4th weekend. At least get a layout done that I can fit into one of the challenge categories. Thanks for looking.

Here are a couple that I used some old chipboard on.
I just used Golden Yellow Ochre paint on the chipboard. I'm not sure I like the blue paint on it but it is done and I'm not taking it apart.

This kit is from CS but the Red is from Stampin' Up! the numbers are new thickers that I picked up last week (you know I don't have enough ;o) The chipboard is on the photo and I actually pulled out My Turquoise Lumiere to paint it with.

The last 2 for now. This is Club Scrap Geometrics and I added Stampin' Up! More Mustard card stock. Also added my new Thickers. Pulled out my old Crimper that used to be my favorite tool. Haven't used it in ages.

Here is one I just finished using Stampin' Up! base & red, Club Scrap tags & letter stickers, an old doily & Christmas paper I have had for ages. I probably doesn't all go together but I kind of like it.
