Well let’s find out! That might be my day 19 card. Great idea. Have you seen the whole set? It’ s really a handsome collection. I haven’t really tried the borders yet.

And thank you Pam and Debi for your comments.
Just looked at the whole set. Those borders are nice, too. It would make good masculine cards.

September 19 Card: Okay, maybe this one is my favorite. This is a card I will be sending my StampNation Pen Pal. The theme this month (someone must like me) is BIRDs or bird related! Hahahaha. I thanked the organizer for that one but deciding what bird stamps to use was a tough one. Actually, I thought of this old set of feathers from PTI right away. I’ve had this for years but I’ve only used it a few times. Everything on this card is from the one set. I mounted it onto a gold panel and then onto a plain white card base.

I can see why you love it. It’s one of my favorites! The little birds are like embellishments and the colors!

Gee, I don't know if I can pick a favorite, Farley. Each day's card is more jaw-dropping beautiful than the last. Your pen pal will love this card.

Thank you Pam and Sue!

I’m lagging a bit. I had a bird survey Wednesday and was a docent last night on another bird tour. But I will make it to the end!

September 20 and 21 cards: Both cards are made with SSS stamps. The first used one of the Deco Borders and Corners on the wreath builder plus the sentiment. This would work for a guy card I think. The second is the SSS Burst stamp using only the outer part of the stamp. I used a gold Sharpie paint pen to ink in a little of the design.

Thank you Debbie, Sue and Pam. We’re in the home stretch! Just 9 days to go. This is feeling a little like CS PSL days but minus the competitive stress. And Bob isn’t really aware that this is happening. He hated PSLs.

September 22 Card: I used a little flourish from an old CTMH stamp set and used the wreath builder to double stamp in two different CP greens. The sentiment is also from the same set. Added Nuvo Metallic Drops in copper, matted on copper and mounted on a dark sage card base.

September 23 Card: Concord and 9th stamp set. I used CP inks to watercolor. Busy tomorrow, Sunday the 23rd, (birding/wine tasting) so I got ahead of the game. This stamp set is interesting because there are “blobby” watercolor-like stamps to fill in the flowers and leaves. I used those a few times but then filled in the rest with hand painting.

Hmmm, I didn’t get much sleep last night and what I just wrote above didn’t neccesarily make sense. Good night friends.

Farley, I oooh and aaaah over every one of your cards, but I think I have to agree with Pam - that watercolor flower card has taken the lead. Absolutely gorgeous! Who needs Pinterest when you've got Farley for inspiration.

Oh, and I'm sure I have some flourish stamps somewhere that I will try with the wreath builder template. Adding that to my to-do list.
