January 2014 Card Sketch Challenge

As I reported in the Scrapbook thread, I am slow but sure. Taking the easy way out again but I like these simple card sketches. This one is from Operation Write Home #205. http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-205/

I have a couple of samples prepared and will post the first one immediately.

And here is my sample. I used cardstock from Club Scrap's Up Up & Away and stamps from my stash. Simple but I'm happy with it. If any of you haunt my blog, you may have already seen this. I apologize but it was one of my New Year's cards and was posted for that date.

Using some stash, again a reoccurring resolution... Papers are all from some Simon Says Stamp card kit and the stamps are my new PaperTrey ink stamps/die set.

That card is adorable, Nancy. I made one with t hat owl but can't for the life of me find it. Guess I need to make another. Thanks for joining in.

A friend came over to make cards so I did a few, too. The bird is really for the challenge but then I realized the others are basically the same template.

Oh this was a fun one to make and I used so many NBU items! Such as the sentiment, first time to actually use the MFT mini doily, the Glitz paper and the little pearl which was a Christmas gift. Plus…I used washi tape!!! And not just for getting out those little doily bits,
