Hi, I'm new-ish!
Hi, I'm new-ish!
Hi all,
It's been a few years and I'd like to get reacquainted. I'm no longer getting CS kits and I've moved from NY to PA, but everything else is pretty much the same. I still scrap and play with various art techniques. And I love just about everything Christy Houser does. Just sayin'.
Oh, except that my daughter is moving to NC after she finishes grad school in the spring. Is anybody familiar with Greenville, NC?

My DH went to school at East Carolina, but that was so many years ago he probably wouldn't recognize the town now. I can tell you that at one time ECU was Playboy's #1 party school, but that's not what you really want to hear.

Hello Ellen good to see you here. I am about 1 1/2 hour from Greenville so not out of the way. I also have a son & DIL that live in PA - along with a bunch of cousins. Where in PA are you? Son lives in Dillsburg which is just south of Harrisburg.

Gonna talk to Deb about it. We haven't touched base in a while about their upcoming visit. It'd be fun, and I'd love to make it happen.
Thanks for the nice greetings, y'all! It's good to be with my peeps!

So glad you're back. I hope you can come to re-create. It would be wonderful to meet you in person. You'll love the group. We have a great time. Hope Deb gets to come too.
What's Wendy going to be doing in Greenville? It has become a university town. They have a great medical facility there. Access to all things university. Surrounding Greenville is countryside and small towns. It is a little over an hour from Raleigh, the state capital and where I live. Not to far from the beach depending on which one you go to. Gets hot in the summer, but so does most of the east coast. NC is a great state to live in. I hope she really likes living here.
