G45 Challenge

Post by pbp908 »

Since there was a lot of talk about this in Christy's thread, I thought I'd get it started. Besides that, I have a lot of G45 and need some inspiration!

I've used this distinctive paper in a lot of different ways, projects and LOs, and it can almost be intimidating because of the designs. The trick to it is - don't be afraid to cut it up and use small portions of it. My challenge to you is - cut it, slice it, distress it, but more important - use it! Post your creations all through March and let's see if we can't inspire each other to reduce some of that G45 stash!

These are 2 examples of how I've used G45. The scowl I had nothing to do with.

Great job on those Pam. I know those designs can be very difficult to work with. I need to pull some of mine out.

Do it, Cheryl!

I finally found the bird house photo. This paper really lends itself well to working with dimensional projects.

Wow, that was quick, Cheryl. It makes beautiful cards.

Thanks for posting the challenge, Pam. I hadn't realized that the layout of Adam was G45. That's a really good example of what we need to do.

Trouble is, I think I own 1 sheet of G45 paper and it's Wizard of Oz so this might take some thought. And, I might have to do some shopping :-o

Christy that is mesh that was with some flowers I had purchased at HT a couple of weeks ago. They had Valentine flowers for $5 after Valentine day and I couldn't resist. I have saved that mesh because it is very cool.

Nice cards and projects! I always forget about the B sides. Thought I'd share a G45 project I made awhile ago, also a cigar box. It was a birthday gift, hence the matching card.

These are all outstanding!

Better to use the "B" side than letting it languish in your stash.

Cheryl - I was just looking at the remaining pieces I have in that collection. Making cards from it is the perfect solution!

Cheryl, what is HT? Did you add sparkle to the mesh?

Keitha, nice to see the box again. That sheet of paper with the 4 square designs is the one I have.

My lack of G45 has been somewhat remedied this morning. But as a girl from the Jersey Shore, if anyone has any of the On The Boardwalk collection that you don't want, I'd be interested in some of it. Where I ordered only had a few sheets left which I bought. Some of my vintage beach photos would go with it.

Sorry Marianne, HT is Harris Teeter (grocery store near us). The sparkle was already there.
