My rearranged craft room

Post by Monica »

Finally got around to taking pictures, since I put some art up on the walls. ;) I still have a few bits & pieces to figure out a new home for, but aside from that it's done!

This is right next to the kitchen.

Closer look at my desk area

And turning slightly. The white binders hold my stamps (well, most of them)
Image

DH put a shelf in the entertainment center for my albums. Isn't that cool? :)
Image

There was a shelf under the window originally (part of the hoome when it was manufactured). We took it out when we repainted and the area is so much more funtional now. The recliner you see is DH's contribution to my room.

Close-ups of my workspace. The whole area behing my desk is designed so that my chair will fit between everything.... because I'm too lazy to walk 4 steps if I can simply roll!

The 4 wire drawers hold my Lindy's shots, modeling pastes and textures; basically it's the mixed media area. ;) Nice thing is now it'sall in one spot so I can use it!
Image

Cricut carts (and other stuff) on the left; Cricut out where I can get to it, and inks within easy reach.
Image

Hmmm... I didn't get a good shoet of the drawers underneath, but that's where the tall plastic multi-drawer things went. They fit perfectly! The sprays are in the same spot as before... we just lowered the shelves when putting them back up.
Image

That messiness in the bottom middle is actually the left hand edge of my desk. I'm still working on where I want everything to go on the desk, mainly because I gave the laptop some dedicated space.
Image

Middle & right-hand side of hte desk. The laptop now had a designated spot!

That is OUTSTANDING. I love it! Looking at all of that, I can't even imagine trying to move all of that out and back in again. What a job! But it looks like you have everything you could possibly need right at your fingertips. What a great space!

Thanks for sharing. My craft room has zero space available, and I actually need to figure out what to do with some of the things that are taking up precious floor space. I love seeing others' craft rooms for ideas.

Thanks so much for the pics, Monica! I'm looking at every detail as I have about 3 or 4 weeks till I get to start putting my room together. I can hardly wait!

Thanks! It was easier this time around. I only had to buy 3 more cubes & replace the bookcases that were damaged.

Thanks! It was a complete PITA to deal with, but I like this configuration better than the last one. I opted to only have one extra table, which DH is still complaining about, but I don't feel cramped now.

I look forward to seeing yours too! I *think* I may have found the ideal (for now) arrangement, but you never know.... lol!

I'll remember that! When I showed my mom she thought I should be a designer for spaces.... I just laughed.... this is at least the 3rd time I've rearranged at this house. ;)
