Who's up for a challenge? Create a tag or card using an embossing folder by October 7th at midnight and you could be the lucky winner of 2 embossing folders!! There's only one other catch, pick someone from the address list and mail it to them after you post a photo of it in this thread. You might want to pick someone from the list we haven't seen on the board in awhile to remind them we are still alive and well on PAO.

I had a reason to go through all my Tim tags yesterday and I mentioned to Keitha how the ones with dry embossed techniques are my favorites. So....I better get right on it!

Sounds like fun! I have to admit, so far my participation here has been online only. But I figured out how to request membership to the address exchange group - first step in being able to send something to someone, right? Now to narrow the embossing folder choices to just one!

My Cuttlebug had a workout today. Here are my tags; one to send and one to keep. Both started with the same background, but then I embellished them differently.

However I haven't been made a member of the address exchange list, so for now they're not going anywhere.

Is that the new Tim leaf folder and die set, I see there? Are those Tim embossing folders on the background? I really like the way his folders make a deeper impression than the Cuttlebug ones. But I'm stuck with mostly Cuttlebug ones.

Here is my card. The background really is embossed with the leaf folder to the left of it but it is printed tissue over painted cardstock, embossed, painted and spritzed gold so you have to look closely toward the bottom and the top to see the embossed leaves. Nearly forgot, I used the Autumn leaf die from Rachelle's Ranger windfall. Thanks, Rachelle!

I've changed the photo. Keitha suggested using an Ott light and that did a much better job of lighting not to mention doing a straight on shot.

I have discussed this with Deb and she has ok'ed it since she is going to be working the next few days. Before you send your card, PM me with who you are sending to. I will keep a list to make sure that several of us don't send to the same person. We want to spread the wealth!!

The background is definitely a Sizzix folder, but I'm not sure if it's one of Tim's or not. If so it's an early one, as it doesn't say Alterations on it. The leaves on top are from a TH embossing folder from last year; it had 3 leaves on it on a plain background. I embossed them on smaller tags and fussy cut them out. No leaf/die set here yet, although I am tempted to order it.

Great card Marianne!! Love the use of the leaf die. I got one of those too and need to put it to use.
