Layouts from online crop

I make a couple of layouts yesterday. Later in the day, I hooked up my Silhouette and reviewed some of Kerri Bradford's classes. Now I feel like I might be able to use it again!
First one - challenge was to make a fall layout - I used a design idea from Irit but with fall PL cards. I found the photos from our trip to the NC mountains in fall 2012 and had some of them printed. I hope to get them all on pages this year. This one - the challenge was to make a mixed media background (I remembered in the middle of the night that I forgot to mount it on cardstock so it will change a bit with whatever cardstock I use.) I made a background with scraps of paper - gessoed it - stencils - TH dyes - spray mists - molding paste...Took quite a while to clean up! This is my brother, his wife, and their youngest son on the day they too him to enlist in the Army.
