This card is just Scrumptious.
I promise to make another one from your sketch soon.
I'm on a holiday card roll. This will work nicely into it.

Another card using my sketch. I try to enter each Friday the Unity "Friends With Flair". It's not a challenge but a nice place to show your cards using their stamps. Then they do a random drawing each Monday and you can win stamps. So tonight I made my FWF card and used the sketch to do double duty.

I am pretty hooked on Unity stamps and I'm a member of the KOTM - Kit of the Month. Each month they create a large sheet of cling rubber stamps that have no particular theme. There will be a few that relate to the time of year or holiday but the set will also have a variety of other very useful and creative images. They are strictly stamps. No paper, no embellishments, no die cuts or doodads. Just rubber. Love it.

Both the jar and tag were first scanned and then I was able to print and cut them using my KNK. LOVE my machine. I printed the jar on Copic friendly paper so I could use the markers. Amazingly, the my ink jet printer ink does not bleed or smear with the Copics. I just let the image dry for a few minutes and then go for it. I did a little paper piecing for the ribbon around the jar lid and added a sparkly enamel dot on the tag.

Thanks for looking and hope to see some of your sketch versions this month.

Very pretty, it looks like it took a long time to make. Did you color the ribbon on the jar or is that patterned paper?

Thanks everyone.

Marianne you're right, the ribbon is a fussy cut patterned paper. But this didn't take that long once I had the idea. This is what is so great about electronic cutters. The jar and tag were already scanned and in my graphic file. So using my KNK to cut the images was a snap.

Jen, I saw a card of yours somewhere? Igloo? Dark background? It was so cute! When I read PAO from my phone, I get lost!

Yes, Pam, I posted it over in the stencil & paste thread as well as the Holiday Card Workshop thread.

Here is another card for Farley's sketch. This is one of those cards that looked a whole lot better in my head than once I created it. I will give it another try. I think it's just that I can't deal with all that pattern. I realize a lot of scrappers use pattern on pattern on pattern. But it doesn't work in my brain.

Looking forward to seeing some more cards here.
